Mobile Private Cloud builds bespoke ruggedised servers designed for field deployment.
Each unit operates over 5G and has a static IP address that allows it to host web-based systems (e.g. drone control, secure comms, ecommerce sites etc.) exactly like a datacentre-based server.
All units are powered from a 12V supply (for example a car cigarette lighter or battery pack), allowing them to be exactly where they’re needed
..and securely off the grid (invisible & inaccessible) when they aren’t.
Core system:
8 core, 16 thread AMD Ryzen 9 CPU; up to 64GB RAM, up to 4TB storage plus Oculink & USB4 for external GPU/SSD & twin 2GB ethernet ports.
5G/4G router, either EU or Global spec. Dual SIM for auto-failover; each SIM can be on a different network. 2GHz & 5GHz WiFi & firewall.
Recent build example:
Twin 12VDC diode-protected power input, allowing the unit to be kept live whilst being moved (e.g. from office to car).
Voltage, battery condition and current displays (green).
External ethernet & HDMI ports.
Case:
The standard case is IPx67-tested (1m underwater for 30 minutes) & NATO impact-certified case with auto-pressure release (W414mm x D345mm x H129mm.)
A smaller, sealed but non-certified case (pictured) is available (dimensions W340mm x D270mm x H100mm.)
Easily man-portable at just 2.5kg weight excl power source.
Private Cloud
Each ruggedised unit can be configured to run as either:
A straightforward *nix or Windows server ('on the tin')
A private cloud server using either Proxmox or VMWare
Proxmox is licence-free and able to access all cores & threads
VMWare clouds now require a licence - without such they have limited access to the underlying hardware
